Pause-a-tive

"If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes."
- John Wooden

Wow, what a day. Lets all focus on the positive shall we!
I had a meeting this morning with a client and I was a tad scared but like always, my fears were unwarranted. The client really liked what I had to show and is pleased with more than one so from here on we will work on zoning in on the perfect fit. It's always so nice when you know that you've done a good job. Again, I credit the client for being open to new ideas and looking for something new, fresh and different. I am thankful for having had such great people to date.

I was in Boutique Zekara today and was shown some of the new packaging and tried a new lip product they have. Sooo nice and smells so good. If anyone is looking for a new facial routine, I would really recommend the Brilliant-C collection. Currently I use the toner, eye cream along with the firming defense cream. It doesn't make my skin tight, dry, greasy or heavy. It's the perfect fit for my skin. They are just all around good products and honestly...lately when I was my face and do the routine it makes me more relaxed. In reference to the post that I did about saving your money on some things when it comes to makeup, this is one of those times you need to splurge and treat yourself.

Aunt Av and I had hoped to walk today but due to the rain and the both of us either being witches or made of sugar (I'm going with the latter) we opted to take a road trip out to see Amanda's new office in Grand Bay and drop off a potted rose to brighten up the office. I had hoped at first for it to be an orchid but alas, Sobeys had none. ...Although! They obviously must have them on in their flyer this week and are offering rain checks encase anyone out there is hoping to add something lovely to their home.

Amanda's new office is larger than I thought and has LARGE windows which I'm sure are a blessing and a curse. Like I said to her, no more picking wedgies or picking and flicking. I-KEED I-KEED. It has to be so energizing to get so much sunlight in your workspace.

After spending the afternoon with Av, I then headed home to get Trevor and was pleased when he arrived with my favorite type of salad from Superstore. That along with a piece of salmon was on the menu for me while he had his favorite. *barf* Hard tacos. It's obviously just me that has an aversion to them because even Av said she enjoys them more than the homemade ones. I'm not sure if it was the shell or the meat, but it always came off salty and chemically when I've had them. To each your own.

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day. I'm just finishing off just over three liters of water but this week has been a tad stressful and different, so I have my fingers crossed again on this one. I'm sure that this will be the way the whole way thru my weight-loss, is there ever a time that anyone is comfortable getting onto a scale no matter what size you are? Maybe my Nephew.

So depending on how tomorrow morning goes I will either be working out in the morning or the afternoon. It would be lovely if the rain, thunder and clouds would subside so that we could work in a walk outside somewhere in there. Best of luck to anyone else doing the same thing this week.

Let it all roll off your shoulders,
Gillian
