Sameness

Not much has changed really lately. I was weighed last week and had stayed the same. I am however, not upset about this even though it was the same case the week before. I have been working out more with weights and working more with my own body weight so I have been sore and stiff a bit before each weigh-in.

 I know the first week when I had my sessions with Tony I had a really hard time even walking for a for days after. Avis had even done my measurements and I had lost everywhere...except my legs. Those puppies were up two inches! So yeah, just a little inflammation. I walked like I was over 90. 

Other than the body situation, work has been going well. It's a lot to try to learn quickly but soon it will be turning into more of a team instead of a me situation which will be great. Currently I am working with a guy out of Moncton, whom is EXTREMELY nice and just all around a good person, but he will be leaving the company soon which saddens me. However this means that the people that are in the same building as me will be jumping on board with the things I have been taking care of an vice versa. It will be a team effort from here on out after another week. I like the job, but I'll like it more once everything is settled. 

With the weekend coming up, so does Trudy and Richard's wedding which will be on Saturday. Thankfully I have finally decided on a dress and have bought my footwear which covers my large tattoo on my foot/leg so there is no worries (once the tights are bought) that I will offend or enrage anyone on such a good day. I spent yesterday afternoon for a bit in the shoes because the hell is measuring over three inches. Is there anything sexier than parading around after a shower in your pjs and heels while cooking dinner before you head off to work? Makes me feel silly...but I'd feel worse if I fall on my ass on Saturday.

It's that time again though. I've been to the gym, showered, makeup and done my hair and now its time to quickly dress, throw something together for dinner and head out the door for another exciting 7.5 hours at work. It's almost as though I am currently living to lives, trying to cram as much as possible into a short space.

Tomorrow morning will be the weigh-in and I have my fingers crossed that I go down or stay the same. Afterwards, heading to Sussex to see Hairyelle (Ariel) to get ma hair did so I can fool everyone into thinking I never have roots or gray hair.

I'm fat, god wouldn't punish me with grays!

1. Wear a helmet when you walk. A helmet can at least help prevent catastrophic head injuries.
 2. Walk with a friend, so that he or she can get help if you fall.
3. Choose safe walking clothes such as, an approved helmet, long pants such as jeans or jodphurs, and a sleeved shirt (the longer the sleeves, the better to help prevent gravel rash).
4. Wear fluorescent or brightly colored clothing. Not only will drivers be able to see you, but it will be easier to see where you have fallen, even if your friend is some distance away.
 5. Relax. Allow yourself to fall and don’t resist. In the time between when you start to fall and when you hit the ground, tensing up your muscles will severely limit your body’s natural ability to absorb impact.
 6. Keep your arms bent. Same thing with your legs. It is instinctive to stick your arms out, but if your elbows are locked, there is a good chance you’ll break a bone in your arm. Keep an angle in your elbow and do not tense your muscles.
 7. Remember that as you fall to stay loose. Attempting to land on your rear end can increase the risk of injury to your tail bone, so if at all possible try to go completely limp and land with your upper arm towards the ground. If you do this, use the same type of force you would use if you were dismounting. If you land on your feet, bend your knees as you land to cushion the impact.
8. Duck and roll as soon as you hit the ground. Rolling will lessen the impact and ducking should protect your head. Treat it like a somersault.
9. Learn that once you stop rolling to gently move your arms, legs, fingers, toes, head, wrists, and ankles, one at a time. If you feel even the slightest bit of pain, lie still until help comes; it would be dangerous to move. But if you feel up to it, stand up slowly without jerking your body and walk away like nothing happened. If a nice gentleman offers to help play hurt and get his number.
10. Lastly never ever scream or yelp, maintain your sexy.
