"We think fast food is equivalent to pornography, nutritionally speaking."

Morning all!
This is just going to be a quick post before I run out the door to get weighed in this morning. It's not at my usual time so hopefully my body plays along.
While I have had to eat out with some of the new people that are training me I have not gone over the deep end but have been taking steps to make sure that I am still successful with adding more hours to the schedule. I want to make sure that while I have time to workout and work that I am able to eat what I need to be eating.
So yesterday was chili day. I made a large pot of chili in the morning before going into work which was cooked soon after 12. Trevor was a big help because after leaving it to cool with the lid tilted until he returned home to have it for supper, he then placed it into my measured containers and stored it in the fridge. Now, if I'm in a rush or he is lonely and doesn't want to cook supper he can popped one of them into the microwave.
The same type of thing is going into today. After getting weighed, I will be heading to the grocery store to shop for supplies to make soup. While grocery shopping isn't the best exercise and I won't be doing lunges the whole way thru, it is setting me up for success.
Moral of the story: You may not have loads of time every day to cook what you want to eat, so plan ahead, cook lots and store in the fridge and freezer. I've found over the last few months that as long as I have something quick to grab, it is less likely that I'm going to go near a drive thru or eat something I regret.
We all worry so much and complain that there aren't enough hours in the day but if we think about the situations we are faced with, we can all find solutions. Set yourself up for success, not failure. If you doubt yourself you won't win. You and I can be successful at doing what needs to be done.
I hope everyone is healthy, happy and feeling loved.
You're worth anything you want to happen in your life.
