21 Inches

"Sometimes your body is smarter than you are."

The numbers are getting bigger! I mean this in a good way though, thankfully!
Friday I had the pleasure of going for a walk with Avis and Beans. While Av thought it was going to be a small walk, my brain obviously had something else in mind and long story short...we ended up walking over 6km. Poor Beans and poor Avis' hip. I felt horrible but at the same time, guess it was suppose to happen. Only 2km under what Amanda and I will be doing on Sunday.

The other number that keeps increasing in my life is the number 21! This is the approximate digit that I have lost off my body since July 10th. Huzza! It's amazing to think that I've almost lost two feet off my body. Those are just the numbers that have been recorded, keep in mind I've been losing since April. Again I'll say it - if you are planning on starting a weight loss plan/journey, weigh AND measure right from the start! I know the starting numbers are upsetting and maybe scary to see, but you will not regret it in the end.

The last week has been good and was topped off by the long weekend and some hot tub action. The fun in the water started off in the kiddy pool (with Ethan) and then ended in the hot tub which the first time around was at 70. Dad came to the rescue and the second visit was 85 and Monday's splash fest was 99. At 70, poor Ethan was chilly as well as ticked about the life jacket. Amanda was on top of it though and brought out a learn to swim outfit for him and the rest of the time in the hot tub was blissful.

Although...Monday's visit to the tub ended with poo, kiwi seeds and carrot all over my feet, towel, arm, while gagging over the side of the deck and being sprayed off with the garden hose. While it is funny now, it wasn't at the time....for me. That is the first and last time I will be removing his diaper after swimming. On the bright side, Ethan learnt some new sounds and mimicked my gagging like a parrot. Way to turn the poofest into something funny kid.

Kiwi seeds,
